Experience the therapeutic and healing effects of halotherapy as you relax in our salt room.

Get relief from respiratory and skin problems while boosting your immunity and overall health with dry salt therapy.

In addition to promoting better breathing and healthier skin, halotherapy fights inflammation and improves your infection-fighting immune system.

Halotherapy, or dry salt therapy, benefits adults and children alike, as well as athletes and animals. It is natural, safe, and causes no side effects. According to the Salt Therapy Association (STA), many people who undergo halotherapy as a complementary treatment on a regular basis may find relief from a variety of conditions, including:

  • Asthma
  • Chronic Bronchitis
  • Coughs, Colds & Flu
  • Emphysema
  • Sinus Infection/Sinusitis
  • COPD
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Allergies/Hay Fever
  • Ear Infections
  • Acne
  • Psoriasis
  • Eczema
  • Depression
  • OCD
  • Stress
  • Fatigue
  • Anxiety

Halotherapy has also been known to improve snoring, sleeping problems, and athletic performance. If you’re looking for a way to feel your best inside and out, you’re going to love salt room sessions.

Did you know not all salt rooms provide the benefits of true halotherapy?

While salt caves or rooms, or saunas outfitted with Himalayan salt bricks or walls are certainly aesthetically pleasing and relaxing, they lack the therapeutic efficacy of a specially designed halotherapy system. Simply put, patients experience the most benefit when precise environmental conditions are in place — otherwise they risk wasting time and money.

Here’s what to look for in a halotherapy room:

Halogenerator machine

Halogenerator machine

This specialized equipment pulverizes salt into dry salt aerosol, which is then sprayed into the room.

Dedicated, enclosed space for therapy sessions

A closed room ensures correct salt concentration levels, as well as temperature and humidity.

Pure sodium chloride

This salt is highly therapeutic in aerosol form and is ground into particles as small as two microns for optimal dispersal.

Salt room therapy should also offer a chance to relax, meditate, or just “tune out” for a while.

Halotherapy FAQs

Halotherapy is a dry salt therapy that utilizes a halogenerator to grind and crush salt into micronized particles that are dispersed into the salt room via a dry salt aerosol that works to aid respiratory concerns and skin conditions. If there is no halogenerator, there is no halotherapy.

Salt room sessions last 25 minutes. You can also do a double session for 50 minutes.

Based on your condition and symptoms, this can vary. For best results, the Salt Therapy Association recommends a series of treatments. Some individuals prefer to use halotherapy as a continuous preventative measure.

Once you enter the salt room, you’ll sit and relax. The lights will dim, and you’ll listen to relaxing music, read a book or magazine, meditate, or simply rest during your session.

Loose, comfortable, light-colored clothing that you can relax in works best. If you are using halotherapy for a skin condition, you’ll want to have that area exposed.

Cell phones, electronics, and jewelry are not permitted since salt can be corrosive.

There are no potentially harmful side effects of halotherapy, as the treatment is completely natural. A slight cough or a runny nose is possible, but this is simply the salt working to remove mucus and toxins from the lungs and airways.
